  • 1.  the path entered does not contain a Sage MAS 90 or 200 installation

    I am trying to recover a MAS 200 4.4 that got cryptoed...I have installed a fresh MAS 200 and when I try to migrate from he old directory I get "the path entered does not contain a Sage MAS 90 or 200 installation.  You must enter the path to the MAS90 folder."  Does anyone know exactly what it is looking for in MAS90 to call it valid?

    I think it is looking for the home\ folder and maybe the pvxwin32.exe not 100% sure though if that is all.

    I know some processes look for the ACTIVATE.PVX file in MAS90\Home\Lib\Keys. You might want to make sure that file exists, too.

    And the main folder has to be MAS90, can't be MAS90-OLD or something like that.

    For Migrate to recognize an MAS90 folder, it has to have

     

    Home

    MAS_SYSTEM

    SY

    And the MAS_xxx company directories

    The new install works.
    SY & MAS_System look to be intact.
    I replaced all the .dll and .exe in Home from the new install.
    Then replaced everything that had been cryptoed in \home\lib.

    It now seems to be working.

    You might want to create a blank company first and then copy to the folder that it created.
