  • 1.  The object SO_INVOICE_BUS does not exist

    Suddenly this morning...all users in the customer are getting this message.  I believe it is security, but cannot find the exact message on knowledgebase.

    I've seen it happen with 3rd party CC involved - there was a local install that needed to be run.  ALSO, just for kicks - make sure no one accidentally dragged the SO folder somewhere else...

    Try renaming the mas90\links folder and see if you still get the message.  If the message goes away with the links folder renamed then narrow down what program in the links folder is causing the error by cutting and pasting the programs in the links folder to a temporary location and then testing.  Once you find the override program in the links folder that is causing the error you should be able to find the program in SY_ClassEnhancements.  The record in SY_ClassEnhancements will have the developer code.

    OK…here an update

    1. Error only happens in certain companies…not all of them
    2. I renamed the links folder and still get the error
    3. I can see the file in the SO folder

    No clue of what else to test.  I am restoring the complete server's backup from Thursday night to see if we go back to before error.

    Any suggestions???

    Are there any third party enhancements?  If so, compare the program SO_invoice_bus.pvc date with an off-the-shelf / freshly minted installation of the same version and product update.  It's possible the developer modified the base program instead of using an override.

    My first instinct is the same as Beth's - CC integration. I can't find anything on this in my notes so maybe I'm imagining this. Who is your credit card processor - if any?

    Are there any 3rd party enhancements? specifically Ebiz Credit Card processing can cause this error. 

    did anything else change or get installed?  

    make sure the SO folder exists under the MAS90 folder.

    i have seen if you uninstall a third party enhancement or part of one, one or more programs can be missing.  Compare an off-the-shelf same version of Sage 100 SO folder and see if there are any missing programs.
