The Object PvxDax.PvxDictionary could not be initialized"". Occurs when launching MAS 200 desktop version 2013 from the server and all workstations. I was doing some server cleanup last week and uninstalled a 4.5 workstation and deleted services that used to run prior versions of MAS on our Windows 2008 R2 server. Running MAS 2013 as a service, but I get the same error if I launch it as an Application.
When I look up the message in KB, there is a possible resolution for 4.5, which is to run vcredist_x86.exe. I find this program in the 2013 install folder, but when I begin to launch it, it indicates that it will install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 (not 2008) Runtime Libraries. Has anyone encountered this message on 2013? Any thoughts if I should trust the vcredist_x86 in the 2013 install folder?
