The most interesting part of T-Mobile's announcement today regarding new price plans. Family plans are $80 for the first 2 phones. The next ones are $10/mo. All include 500 mb of data per month with 2G available per phone for $10/mo (per phone). Not bad if you have a family that is mostly on WiFi. Another catch is you have to bring your own phone -- or purchase/finance it unsubsidized..

It looks like they charge you more for the plan ($60 each for the first two lines) if you bring your own phones, and purchasing a phone from them carries a monthly charge besides any up front fees. It appears they are just making the phone a separate line item on your bill instead of rolling it into one line item.
