The happenings in Connecticut make me realize how insignificant my issues are, no matter how frustrating they may seem....

So true. And I've been sick to my stomach since hearing the news...and the continuing news.

I know. Me too.

I thought I would be worried when my 16 year old son received his drivers license. No, but I do worry when he goes to school, the movies, a mall, a concert, etc.

Having two daughters in the teaching community (oldest was a K'garten teacher last year, youngest is student teaching now), it hits home in many ways. All I can think is WHY?

It's a sickness.
