The great, apparently unsolvable, paperless direct deposit slowdown. Will Sage spin this as one reason for using their outsourced payroll service?

Except... I am also having issues with orders and invoices for a client who just upgraded from 2013 to 2015...

I think payroll DD is the ""canary in the coal mine"" because (a) frequency of (b) large numbers of (c) time sensitive documents.

My client is having what appears to be timeout -30 errors on invoice batches (from a workstation, but not from the server, and does not happen right away - about 10 invoices go at a time before the error) and on orders that have more lines than normal (which in their case is still less than 20 lines). I just changed the font on one of their forms to see if it made a diff, based on your posting - but they have their logo, and lots of bold they won't want to give up...

@WayneSchulz - thanks to this article, I thought about the issue in a new way and was able to pinpoint a subreport that was no longer needed - cleared up the problem!

@BethBowers well done taking the article and extrapolating it to find other related issues. Not everyone does that. While Wayne did a GREAT job pointing you in the right direction, you were the one who was able to take 2 + 2 = 4 and extend the logic out to find the solution you needed.
