I passed it along to my 100 Advanced client who spent 18 months and untold dollars before coming back to me. I increased my fixed quote 30% when I found out how much he wasted.....

Should be interesting how the stock of companies like netsuite trading at 1999 .com PE ratios does on Monday. Zach Nelson will probably spin it something like ""That useless dinosaur of a company created a POS (And I don't mean retail software) system. now that they learned their lesson that only VC funded companies can build great solutions, you 768 customers are welcome to join the real cloud revolution

@JeffSchwenk I'm on the phone first thing Monday to the (accounting firm) client that did the exact same thing. @GaryFeldman Let's sell another big cloud solution!

Most people who looked at ByDesign thought it was pretty. Pretty complex, cumbersome and confusing. It was actually a decent product with no market. Last two years they started breaking it into pieces and selling point applications. I actually thought that was a good strategy as the parts and pieces weren't bad, they were just for a target market that was too small and unable to support the HUGE investment.
