The current file's data dictionary definitions do not match those of the new file"".. I got this message while attempting to rebuild the GL_AccountHistory file. I tried the obvious, I went to Custom Office, added a UDF to the file, then deleted it, and updated the customizer to the current level. That didn't work. The ONLY customization they have is in PO, and it's a text box; nothing exciting. I ""adopted"" this client from an old employer who recently installed this brand new!! From what I understand, this implementation did not go all that well, hence my involvement at this point. Anyway, there does not appear to be any other fall-out from this issue.I can print all reports from GL, including the Budget & History Report, GL Analysis and Graphics. Anything you might be able to offer would be appreciated, although after testing all this other GL stuff, I may have posted this improperly, as it's not urgent if everything is working as it should!! P.S. It's Sage 100, version 4.50.4 - Thanks!!!! Kathleen

Anything look funky re: the module versions in Comp Maint? Maybe they mixed software versions/PU's? Maybe a full reinstall is worth a shot.

@JeffSchwenk look right above your post :) The version is 4.50.4, I did miss messing with you ...... (hee hee) when I was gone. @BrettZimmerman - nope, every reads the same.....but, I don't have much confidence in this IT duo. When they sent an Email responding to the COO's inquiry they referred to the Kerberos ticket as the ""kerby thingy"". I couldn't even make this stuff up!!

@KathleenMatthews are you SURE that was there prior to my asking or did you just edit the post so you could mess with me!!!!!!

Check the edit time. You never read an entire post, and you know it!! ;)

I don't remember clearly but thought GL_AccountHistory was an intentional duplicate of GL_Account just for FRx purposes. And one of the FRx resolutions was to reinit GL_AccountHistory followed by rebuild of G/L Sorts to get it repopulated from GL_Account (followed by utilities you run directly in FRx). That being said, I don't know if it resolves this error. Obviously make backups of whatever you rebuild and reinit.

That explains why my FRx report is not pulling all the accounts properly though.

@AlnoorCassim I Reinitialized, rebuilt sorts and now all is good with the MAS90 files, #thank you very much. However, even though I deleted the GL index and had FRx build itself a new one, I am still not seeing all the GL accounts in some areas of the P&L. It looks to be in the ranges - which is strange, unless like me, FRx does not care for this COA :)
