The contest results are out. Notable changes - Sage CRM, Sage 500, Sage 50 no longer a category . Sage Spirit, Customer Excellence, and Community Service categories gone. The list of NA products provides a pretty good roadmap to those which Sage is focusing on for producing revenue and/or which are sold primarily through the channel. The biggest change is likely the dropping of Sage CRM which outlines what a dramatic fall that product has taken. It was not long ago that Sage was sending us all spreadsheets showing that nearly every customer needed Sage CRM. The Sage 500 omission is not that surprising as Sage is pretty clear that they are not putting much effort into that product line. I suggest that any NA product sold through the channel which is not part of CEO Circle criteria is on the endangered product list.

Sage must have determined that the absent(ee) sales were not significant enough to change the results, so they finalized the list. There are very few, if any, categories remaining that small to medium resellers can compete in any more. We are still missing $10 -$15K in tier from 9/30 and I don't see any progress. Only 1 person at Sage reviews this. Dianna Lane was concerned at BPAC when I discussed this that there were many others missing sales. Apparently it's just me.

Answer from the single person (literally, only ONE person) who deals with this was: ""I just don't have the bandwidth to review all these transactions."" Really? Maybe Infor or SAP or {fill in the blank} has time for me.

Maybe we just don't have the time to meet a contest deadline for triple tier next quarter.

@JohnHoyt it only took six weeks for us to get $20k in tier credit and that was after I refused to talk to my RSM until it was resolved. Finally got Rob Larsh and Linda Pressel involved (the one person?). Rob said the same thing, ""We have thousands of transactions and only one person."" ""Not my problem, Rob!

So is the problem that they can't get a report correctly, or is the problem that they can't enter transactions properly and have to check them all?

The best businesses run [into the ground] on SAP.

I'm not so sure I blame this all on SAP. Recall that Sage is the same company that took multiple different products in NA with unique recognizable names and rebranded to to something totally generic, confusing and in a few cases duplicate (Sage 100, Sage 50, Sage 300). When the final score is written for NA I think the rebranding of products will be one that people will list as ""what were they thinking?"".

And I wonder how much money was wasted on that rebranding.

@ThereseLogeais Yes, Linda is the ONE person. She has been at Sage for over 32 years! It's about time she got some help.

@WayneSchulz Especially ditching the Peachtree brand and then moving US HQ to Atlanta...
