    The biggest hidden time suck is now ""hey can you help with a server move for Sage 100"" ? A. The IT people are never on time B. They set an appointment time and let's say it's 2pm -- at precisely 2pm they START to copy 50 Terabytes of data (ETA 5 hours) C. Every other problem on the server gets priority over Sage setup - so you wait, wait, wait. D. You aren't going to bill me for waiting are you?

    I'm sure this is why hourly billing got started...

    Just a warning about these ""quick"" server migrations. Which never are quick and the customer thinks it should just be casually billed as if you have the ability to block 5 hours out for ""standby"". And BTW - those 5 hours always start about 5pm ... on Friday
