    Thanks to what I have read here, I now have a good time clock payroll import job. The client now wants it to check available vacation hours before importing an employee that will exceed them. In regular data entry, it warns you but I don't know if I can do something similar on the import.

    How about allowing the import to work and then printing a Crystal Report listing those employees with current vacation hours > available vacation hours. I assume that the employee is going to get paid for any other hours worked and the data entry person will adjust vacation hours in Payroll Data Entry to match available hours.

    My client went with a Crystal report for vacation\personal time exception reporting. They like the process.
