General Consultant Discussion

Thank you for your commitment to 90 Minds! Your participation is part of the reason that 90 Minds has been so successful in supporting our community of consultants and their businesses. Our Board of Directors and I are excited about the prospect of offering you new opportunities to help you better serve your clients and expand your practice. From the original 19 Sage resellers in Nov 2005 we've grown to over 200 consultants delivering top-quality advice and consulting to customers using an ERP system that include Sage and other publishers. Our Meeting of the Minds flagship event started only seven years ago in a corporate training room, and it is now a much-anticipated annual event attended by consultant members and affiliates. All this growth and change has happened without modifying the consultant membership dues structure. The Board has determined that we must make some minor changes to continue 90 Minds' growth and development. Dues for this annual period are increased $100 per person from last year. _edit_ We have introduced APS Click to Pay, for the convenience of paying by credit card directly from the invoice. The Click to Pay made payment very easy. Avoids forgetting to pay and receiving embarrassing emails from the collections department.

Invoicing for membership renewals have been completed. If you (or your company administrator) haven't received an invoice, please let me know ASAP. Several of you have experienced issues with the click to pay button on the invoice. It does work but it may take some finessing for the browser window to open. The Crystal template was reviewed by the folks who wrote the interface, but it is still quirky. You should have the best response if you click in the upper third of the button or in the white space to the left. As Sage says, it is a WAD. Working as designed but not quite as desired.

You're right it works now! I thought the embedded hyperlink was actually blocked. I ended up opening PDF itself in a browser, then could mouse over the image, see the URL appear, and click on it.

Well, that is another way to skin the cat. Thanks for sharing. If you want to pay a second time, I will lock in your rate till 2020....

To add insult to insult, when it finally opened and card info was entered it was promptly declined as a possible fraudulent charge. I felt like I had been transported to @PhilMcIntosh 's planet of ultra-cynics where Murhpys Laws prevail over everything else.

Jeff, from what email address will the invoice have come?

Just want to move this up to the top. To date, 45.7142857% of the membership dollars have been received. For those of you in this minority group, I appreciate your prompt payment. For those of you in the majority, please verify with your AP department that the payment is in process. If you are in need of a replacement invoice, please send your request to 90mind@btmlinesoft.com. Checks are always appreciated. But if you just want to bypass the AP department and pay immediately (and get airline miles from your CC), the invoice has a click to pay button. It really does work, you just have to find the spot. The membership drive is nearing the end of a very good campaign. But there is still work to be done. 64.467% of the dollars have been received. Unfortunately, that means 35.533% of the membership have not paid their fair share. For those in the majority, thank you very much for your **PROMPT** payment. For the minority, do you really want to miss the upcoming MOTM 2019 conference and new Higher Logic group interface?? Or worse, depend on SAGE for all of your tech support? I hope not. Please contact your AP department and light a fire! Time is growing short.

We are now in the new membership year (11/01/2018). Most of you have been very prompt but there remain 15 people are now past due. You probably know who you are because 2nd notices were sent out last week. Not sure? Ask me! I will be sending out FINAL notices on Friday. If you are not going to renew, please let me know so we can adjust the membership roster.

Final update - We had a GREAT renewal response and even have a few new members. I just sent out one last renewal opportunity email to two companies. Our 2019 renewal window will close next Friday. So if you just received one of those emails, there is still a LITTLE time left to remain in the BEST daxx Sage reseller group in North America or in the world for that matter!
