Test conversion with SPS/exchange integration in place We have a 4.3 client with 1000+ credit card records for companies on file that is currently using SPS for authorization. Is there a process to do a test upgrade without the test stepping on the live credit card data in the vault?

SPS will provide you with a demo account (for demos). I will usually enter these terminal ID's in a clients system for testing and then replace with the clients when they go live.

Perhaps copy to a different company in 4.3 and then do the test upgrade only on the copy company (Just a thought)

You can also just turn it off in the test system by removing the terminal IDs completely.

Alan, at version 4.30 there is no data in the SPS vault. It is all stored in the MAS90 data files (encrypted, of course). I would either create a separate MAS90 instance, or a copy of the company, and do my test conversion there. This would convert all the data tables and put all the cards into the SPS vault, but the original copy of MAS90 would still have the encrypted cards in the AR_CustomerCreditCard table and could be converted again when you're ready to do the live migration. If you use an SPS demo account, or a standard account in a demo mode, you can just clear the test conversion cards. The vault did not become available until version 2013.

My guess is that it will be time consuming what ever you do

I like the demo account Idea. We use that when testing a new setup.
