task is running with Deferred Printing selected, but with any other network printer selected it will not pass on to Paperless and users wouldn’t be able to see the report easily.

In Sage’s knowledgebase is has a workaround to use Deferred. Customer would like to allow another printer to be used (Invalid Printer Selected Message) or explore the possibility for Deferred Printing to feed in to Paperless in an easy to find way.

Set the task to use a local (not mapped) print queue for a real physical (not PDF / XPS) online printer.  Paused queue should be fine if you don't want those stupid log pages to waste paper.
