We have some clients successfully using Sage in Azure. We have another one we are trying to get working in there but its giving us SY_Session errors A LOT. Sometimes in the middle of doing something. Sometimes when they've left it & come back (regardless if they have timeout set inside Sage) & a lot when they close Sage.

The Method that keeps coming up is "SetLastActivityTime" & "CheckForExit". Also saw a "GetUserAccessList", "DoesIdHavePopup", & "LookupModule", "GetLastActivityInterval", "BuildTerm", but not as often. I am not seeing these hits anywhere in any KB. I've done the normal stuff of removing those SY files & letting them recreate upon login, but it doesn't last.

If we click Info, its just says "Invalid Argument"

Also seeing Unlock region failure error after each one so I know its network related, but trying to work with IT to pinpoint where. It happens when logged on as a domain admin account too.

Any insight? Has anyone else seen these errors anywhere?
    Thx!

It almost sounds like they're trying to run Sage workstation 'locally' while the server is in Azure. Is that the case?  Assuming not, how are they connecting to Sage in Azure? Partner Cloud? Azure Virtual Desktop? Windows 365? A Remote Desktop / Terminal Server running Sage workstation?

A lot of tables will write when the users close windows or exit, so I wonder if there is an overactive anti-malware running. Can they allow-list M4Ts?

Sage Partner Cloud is Azure, but a one server solution (where the Standard server is also the workstation), and we've never see this kind of thing for our SPC clients.
The network architecture between Sage workstation and server is the big question here.

That really sounds like a speed/latency issue.
