SY_MODULEDATE ERROR Computer crashed running MAS 90 Ver 4.3.23. Now when any user logs into MAS (that was logged in at the time of the crash) they get an error that there is an incorrect SY_ModuleDate. I cleared the SY_ModuleDate file but the error still persists. I then created a new User Logon and that ""fixed"" the problem but the customer has so many custom printing setups that they lose under the new login. So currently, we log into MAS as the new user, then change User to the old login to actually process transactions and print. This process will get old fast. Anyone have an idea what is causing the error in the first place. We scrutinized the knowledgebase without success.

SY_Workstation? (Rename and let the system create a new one when the first person logs in) Also, is that how you cleared the SY_MOduleDate file? I had the date file so hosed one time you couldn't actually go through all of the records in DFDM looking for the problem - when it got to the bad rec it leaped to the end.

I deleted the SY_ModuleDate records one at a time in DFDM. I will get the exact eror message when they allow me to log in.

See, that's what I was trying to do and I couldn't because it was so screwed up. Yours might be, too. Grab a copy of the file from somewhere else and use it instead and see if that helps.
