    Is it locally installed?  I think the SPM for that is very confusing.  My theory is as long as it's actually installed on the workstation, it works.​

    Twice now, i've had to make sure the Solver add-in was disabled for clients who reported the task pane missing and other issues related to the SI formulas. Might be worth a shot to make sure it is disabled for your clients as well.
