Greetings 90 Minds...
Thank you for your feedback and opinion.
Since I was called out in this thread, I will take the opportunity, publicly as well, to set the perception of gotomyerp correctly.
Here's a different context for the frustration some of you have felt.
Imagine you are responsible for 1000s of customers and every variable in each of those environments, every minute of every day.
How would you manage, secure, guarantee, and scale your business?
In the scenario where anyone is allowed to do anything, you end up with a disastrous result i.e. an Insync, I-BN, Summit, et al, provider x, provider y, continuously. Imagine - Insync was made worse because their breach was caused by an employee where their computer introduced the virus to the production servers! (how's that for quality?)
How did we address this from day one?
Our operations began in 2012 and formally in 2014 and, as a result, of our engineering protocols...
No customer has ever experienced an outage, unscheduled downtime, or cyber event… EVER.
We were one of, if not the first, Sage and QuickBooks hosting providers to use AWS. If that's not good enough, we're so transparent about these statements and will share our insurance claims history with any valid prospect or consultant.
Next, our engineered approach takes nothing away from the consultant.
If anything, we relieve pressure. Yes, it causes frustration for those who do not like to be constrained or follow protocols. Yet, consultants who have correctly used our dedicated hosting service correctly make 40-50% recurring margins without fear of losing the customer because of issues at other providers.
Security, redundancy, continuity, and more.
Although AWS has its own SOC2T2 and myriad of certs… We are one of, if not the only, Sage and QuickBooks Cloud hosting provider that can provide our own SOC2T2 to organizations that require this (for public, erisa/trust orgs, etc.), and can leverage ITAR-compliant facilities for governments, military and military suppliers. How do I know? We've had CPA firms vet the "others" against us, and we won.
Unlike our "friends" in the space who (documented) tell untruths about their infrastructure, do not come close to our built-in quality of service at the price point we offer. Not Net@work, Summit, SWK, Sage's, or other "offerings." No one. Personally, I don't think their quality is worth the tiny bump in margin you get in the license for only the 1st year.
Although I cannot absolutely confirm this, Robert (our CEO) has been one of the only consultants in this space who has offered his time, as long as was necessary, to help consultants transition into a recurring revenue model.
Because we know where we live in this space, we're quite comfortable inviting customers and consultants who know the difference, expect it, and are willing to pay for it. We understand this so well that we even offer a 5000$ credit to your customers who migrate to us.
Choose better.
