Summit Activities Lisa and Catherine in my group are going to be at Summit with me, so we discussed whether there would be any pre-conference 90 Minds session(s). I realize this would be the responsibility of the ""Planning Committee"", but Summit is coming up so quickly, we should probably have a short discussion on this at our next Board Meeting, while posting ideas here until then. We already know that Synergistic is planning to have a JobOps partner meeting on Monday, May 8th probably starting at 2 PM, and many of us would attend that. Lisa thought having a session during the customer sessions might be good, but I'm not sure we could do that unless it was off-site. Pre-Summit probably works best. Here were our ideas for sessions/training: Altec doc-link training Sage Planning and Budgeting training Open forum - like ""Tips and Tricks"" but more of a forum. We could call it ""Socialcast Live"".

Update: Only I will be attending Summit. The offerings from Sage did not look promising enough for anyone else to attend. They didn't tell me outright, but said ""I wouldn't be disappointed, if I didn't go to Summit."" (Sounds pretty outright to me!)

Total Bummer- Even the prospect of a field trip to the I-BN server farm is not enough to bring the gang in?

Makes me wonder if I should even bother hyping Summit to my clients? I have four feeling the excitement. How do I adjust their expectations? Trip to Stone Mountain?

Also lots of big projects starting, so I think they would rather deal with those rather than almost a week away.
