  • 1.  Summary of August Meeting

    Hi all- I wanted to give you a summary of our last month's meeting for consideration and review before our meeting tomorrow.  Please feel free to add anything I may have missed.  See you tomorrow!  

    90 Minds Events Committee – Summary & Status Update

    Town Hall

    • Last town hall was successful with strong engagement.

    Member Social (Nov/Dec)

    • Planning a stand-alone party-style networking event as a member social, separate from MOTM.

    • Will serve as a year-end connection point.

    Meeting of the Minds (MOTM) 2026 Planning

    Wednesday Kick-Off (December at MOTM)

    • Opening event to be a party-style networking event.

    • Format and theme still to be decided.

    Thursday Dinner

    • Format and theme still to be decided.

    Friday Evening

    • No boat cruise.

    • Team will bring forward an alternate extracurricular option.

    Pickleball Tournament (Tom & Darcy)

    • 6–7 teams possible.

    • Need to finalize timing and format.

    • Liability waiver still outstanding.

    Golf Event – Coronado (Hillary + Anne)

    • Target: 24 consultants (consultants-only event).

    • Sponsorship: 4–5 sponsors @ ~$1,000 each.

    • Sage Update 

    • Logistics: ~$125 pp course fee + rentals.

    • Include "closest-to-the-pin" mini-contest.

    Zoo Visit (Hillary)

    • Potential Saturday excursion.

    • Options: bus tour (≤80 ppl), animal encounters, lunch.

    • Need costs, min/max, and commitment timing.

    Haunted Tour – Hotel Del (Dana)

    • Pending details: group rates, capacity limits, weather contingency.

    Conference Schedule Planning

    • Core focus: on-site activities Wednesday–Friday.

    • Guest pass options to be built into some ticketing.

    Boat Cruise / Ferry

    • Boat cruise ruled out (capacity/cost).

    • Ferry to downtown San Diego still under review for Friday (sponsor potential).

    Committee Charter (Dana)

    • Draft posted; needs review and measurable metrics.

    • Goal: finalize at next meeting.

    Notifications (All)

    • Please set Higher Logic notifications to "real-time" for timely updates.
