Subscription Payments In creating a quote for 100c for a customer, I discovered their SI Bundle Subscription they have had since 2014 lapsed late last year, probably due to an expired credit card. This, of course, results in a loss of commissions for us, and it's very difficult to even find this out when it happens. I tried earlier this year to get Sage to copy us on the notifications to the customer, if they even do that consistently, but nothing ever happened. What then went through my mind is the nightmare that is potentially going to occur with all these customers now on subscription. Sage needs to get it together or both we and they are going to lose revenue.

Sage is in La La Land when it comes to subscriptions. I can't rely on anything they say when it comes to upgrading, renewing, etc. Very sad indeed. Finally got a customer upgraded to 100c TODAY that I started early in September. So, so sad......

The reality is that we won't know when any of this lapses because Sage has such an ongoing problem presenting any information in their portal. In reality I now think Sage wants to break the bond with the partner. However Sage's programming is so sloppy and they rely now on tedious manual fixes that there is little hope customers can self install and maintain. Oh well this is just another problem for the next regime and round of $450k EVP who've never worked in this industry but slept at a Holiday Inn several years ago.

One of my clients contacted me to check on whether they were current on business care. They flipped over to ""c"" subscription last month and paid Sage directly via ACH. They were concerned because their account hasn't been debited. I did look on the portal and they are paid through 9/17. I told them Sage had a busy month end and they were still playing catchup. I did not elaborate on their 1970's manual system which worked well back in the day but isn't quite so efficient now that there is no one to read the fax. Also told them that I would split the difference with them if Sage never caught up with them..... Quite the technology company. Too bad their head is in the ""c""loud. Who is going to watch the store when the resellers are pushed out of the way?

Moe, Curly and Larry will be happy to watch the store. Oops, I think they already are.
