Sage 100

Stupid question. Aatrix is asking for multiple states for 1099. I would assume you only need to file where you do business. If you decided you wanted to submit because aatrix will do it at no cost, where would you submit your state account numbers? I am thinking I should just unmark the additional states as their office is in Virginia

I checked this out yesterday and notice that some states, like PA make you file with them if you meet certain conditions (number of 1099's going to that state, for example). I think the simple answer is: if that state required you to file there, you would probably already have a state ID.
