Strange VI issue. MAS 200 v4.5.2 Importing BOM Bills. When running the import the job just closes. I go back in and the ""job running"" flag is on. I discovered through trial and error that each time i run it, it gets a little further before it hangs.(More results in are in the log file.) Header and line(component) records are separate in my source file. Doesn't seem to matter if I'm testing the import or actually importing the results are the same. Anybody have any ideas to troubleshoot?

I'm pretty sure this was a bug that was fixed. If it's your system, try updating to the latest SU.

Thanks Beth. I should've taken a quick look to see if it was listed. I just can't stand trying to get around on the new website.

LOL - I didn't look at the list. I just know I ran into the problem myself with a new client on 4.5 when I was trying to import the bills into their system to go live, and then another reseller had the issue as well and HE told me it appeared to be fixed in a later SU.

Beth's right - its a bug - the VI import to BoM closes when it encounters an error like an item not being on file.

PU's are always the first thing I load (especially on vanilla sytems), can't tell you how many problems they have solved. But then again, they have also caused a new one or two........
