    Next time ask David or whoever - ""What type of products does your company distribute?"" Then state ""In order to properly evaluate your situation and respond to you inquiry, please send me three samples of your product - at no charge of course"".

    This is very annoying and the only way to keep from going crazy is to accept it's perfectly normal that a high percent of web leads are going to walk away because they're not willing to pay any money. I don't think you even need to put them into the ""Loss"" column since almost all of the ""is this going to cost anything"" inquiries are not looking to spend any money and therefore not customers for anyone. Luckily I think we are seeing the decline of the consultant who is very excited to bill at $50 an hour in 1/60 increments over the web.
