Stepping up to the plate after screwing up a technology upgrade. I've been with US Cellular since my first cell phone. Started in Iowa and remained with them in Virginia. They implemented a technology upgrade that went south and stayed there for several months. As an apology, they gave us some additional loyalty points to be used for future purchases. Did this cost them a lot? Probably not, but the fact that they stepped up to the plate voluntarily means a lot to me.
Too bad other companies that continuously screw up technology upgrades don't do the same.....
