Yeah, those links are funky sometimes. I got the same message, but after I logged into the Portal and clicked on KnowledgeBase, the article somehow came up.

Cause
A prerequisite is installed but is a different version from what the Sage 100 ERP installation program is expecting
The prerequisite is missing but cannot be automatically installed
The installation program does not recognize a prerequisite as installed
A corrupt Windows 7 installation has been reported to cause this issue
Resolution
Note: Each of the following is not a step, but a suggestion:
Log onto the server with Domain Administrator privileges
Physically log onto the server, rather than connecting remotely
Right-click ""Autorun.exe"" or ""Setup.exe"" and select ""Run as Administrator""
Install Sage 100 ERP 2014 via the Windows Installer program: ""Sage 100 ERP 2014.msi"" (instead of from ""Autorun.exe"" or ""Setup.exe"")
Manually install the prerequisites by browsing to the Sage 100 ERP 2014 installation folder: ?For ""Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 for Office Runtime"" look within the ""Prerequisites\VC2010"" folder and try ""Setup.exe"" or ""vcredist_x86.exe""
?For ""Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition"", look within the ""Prerequisites\MsSqlServerCE"" and try installing ""SSCERuntime_x86-ENU.msi""
?The path to specific Prerequisites subfolder(s) and file(s) may be too long; try copying the subfolder(s) and contents to a location with a shorter path (like ""C:\"" or ""C:\Sage""), then manually install from there
Download and install the prerequisites from the Microsoft Download Center; considering using a stand-alone installer, if available
For Windows 2012 or 2012 R2, the .Net Framework 3.5 may have to be added into Server Manager as a Feature
Consider temporarily disabling antivirus or other related security software
Repairing corrupt Windows 7 installation has been reported to correct this issue
