Starting to run into a different issue every time I try to install v2014. here is the latest. 100 Advanced on WIN 2008 R2 server. Initiated the install via an RDP. Installed via the autorun (run as Admin). Some prerequisites installed, asked for a reboot. Rebooted, now getting ""Sage 100 ERP 2014 Setup has failed"" error. KB article attached indicates that installing via an RDP connection is less than optimal. So we switch to the system console and get this error message immediately. Verified that ,net 3.5 was installed as suggested by the related link. Any thoughts before I go stand in line??

I had something similar about 6 weeks ago, although mine was Premium. Came down to conflicting versions of SQL Server Compact Edition. I'd suggest checking for other potential prerequisite conflicts.

I had something similar yesterday. Client's system was very locked down (security-wise), and IT needed to give my logon the appropriate rights. I didn't have option of logging in as Administrator, but you may wish to try that. Also, you can try running the installation via the .msi file rather than the .exe's.

Ok, so what is the secret to this link. I click on it. It says I need to log in (already done it), I do it a second time, but I just go to the partner portal.

Perhaps we can do session at MOTM on how to navigate the portal and the KB in particular. I am sure we could get a knowledgeable Sage employee to present.
