  • 1.  Starship Rate Quote Not At 2019 Yet

    FYI for anyone contemplating a 2019 upgrade - if the customer is using Starship RATE QUOTE, that version is not yet available for 2019. I think the rest of Starship is available - at least they sent me the current files when I asked for their Sage 100 2019 compatible release.

    Also, there are two interfaces to Sage 100: the BOI interface and StarShip Link.  The BOI interface is available now for 2019.  If you use StarShip Link as the interface, compatibility is not available until StarShip version 19.3 not expected to be released before the middle of July.

    ​I was just told on Wednesday that we would be waiting until mid-September. I have some very unhappy 2016 clients that are in a holding pattern. Doug, were you just told anything outside of "definitely not before mid-July"?

    @Amber Prayfrock I don't have any other information.  VTechnologies tech support lead me to believe StarShip link would be available in July.  I sure hope I don't have to wait until September.  I am in the midst of an upgrade from 2016 to 2019 including payroll.  If it is September I will discuss with the client the option of changing to the BO interface.  I definitely don't want to do that unless it is the only option because it requires changing the shipping process and re-training the warehouse staff.
