  • 1.  Starship 23.1.6 with Sage 100 v2015

    The customer has Sage 100 v2015 currently using Starship v20.5.  They want to upgrade to the latest version of Starship, 23.1.6.  Starship 23.1.6 requires .NET 6 to be installed.  Since Sage 100 is installed on the same server as the Starship server I am concerned about installing .NET 6.  Does anyone know if there are any compatibility issues between Sage 100 2015 and Starship 23.1.6 and also, is installing .NET 6 a potential issue running Sage 100 v2015?

    Shouldn't be an issue. Installing later versions doesn't remove prior versions. Exe.s are packaged to target a particular version. 

    But, this advice is worth exactly what you are paying for it! And my liability is limited to what you paid.

    Thank you @Eric Lunceford  I seem to remember that all of the .NET versions remain even as new versions are installed. Always good to run it up the 90 Minds flagpole.
