Customer has been e filing W2 for a while. They just received this Aatrix message which seems to say no SSN matched.
I realize there are likely ways to submit tax ID to IRS for verification.
What I’m first trying to see is if anyone else has run into this as an Aatrix issue ( realizing this appears on the surface to be a SSN generated message ) because this customer has multiple entities and is unsure how to proceed for their larger companies.
We SUCCESSFULLY PROCESSED the 01/01/2020 - 12/31/2020 (A) W-2/W-3 SSA (REGULAR/941) SUBMISSION filing for ( company name ) ( xxx ). Unfortunately, one or more Employee Wage Records contain SSN/Name Mismatch Errors. Please note this is an SSA Informational Error; a notice will be mailed ( company name ) from the SSA advising the error(s) need to be corrected.
Unfortunately, the SSA BSO System only provides us with the error counts; they do NOT provide us with a list of Employee Names with errors.
