Spent most of my Sunday doing the Anytime class Sage MAS 90 and 200 CRM and taking the test. That was the first time I've almost run out of time on a test AND there were more than a couple of items I couldn't find anywhere in the documentation (and several I remembered from the droning but again could NOT find in the doc). Definitely the toughest test I've ever had with Sage. But wow, what a huge monkey off my back. That was the only cert I was missing.

So did you review any of the docs or just do the anytime learning or both before taking the test? You probably beta tested too so had some insight...

I beta'd but didn't touch CRM, so no insight there. I had taken a CRM course a couple of years ago, so that all left my brain, too. This time, I MOSTLY watched the Anytime Learning. There was a ton of doc that came with it. I was over all of it by the time I finally said ""screw it"" and took the test. I had started skipping the end user AL and just taking the quizes and the doc - well, I figured that the Search command would be my friend. The worst part is that I didn't even know which doc to open on a few of the questions. so had to search several before I found it.

I'm thinking that I'll add together the separate PDFs and hope they're all searchable.

That's good to know Beth as I need that one as well. Business Works has also added an ""all in one - installation, module functions and troubleshooting"" exam for their resellers to take so there are two I'll be taking before March 1st. Their timing is always so convenient for accountants! Thanks for the update!

It's great that Sage makes it ""somewhat difficult"" to become certified with Sage CRM since it's such a simple product to learn and install. I wonder why 40% of CRM projects fail (or 70+% depending on who's data you look at)? Hmmmmm.... I wonder if I could pass a MAS certification process after taking the anytime course...

None of these tests have anything to do with whether you are qualified to install or support the product. @Peter, if you have any test taking skills at all, you could skim through the PDFs and then search them to find the answers and pass the test. As Beth pointed out, the hard part was that not all the CRM questions were directly out of the book, probably because the CRM course and test are still largely what Bruce Holmes had created.

And it's certainly not that I'm going to go out and start installing and supporting CRM!
