Sage 100

Source Document Attachments We have a prospect that wants the ability to attach document backups for AP, AR and JE's. I have reviewed the capabilities within Paperless Office, but that is for the entire register, and they may want to attach to individual vendor records. Altec will do this, but are there any other options available at perhaps requiring less investment? It would be great to have a general document attachment utility to attach documents to any record in Sage 100.

DSD InstaDocs is worth considering.

I have numerous clients using simple button scripts. Works great also.

ACOM also has document attachments.

Yes, many years ago I looked at ACOM. Is it less of an investment than Altec?

@JeffSchwenk Button scripts - so my consultants than have taken the 2 scripting classes should be able to do that?

I can vouch for @JeffSchwenk , he has a good solution. The client we installed it on likes how easy it works - scan, click, done. With just as easy retrieval of attachment.

I watched the Instadocs youtube video, but can't tell if drilling down to AP invoice from Vendor Maint/Inquiry shows the attached documents. Can anyone confirm?

I like InstaDocs if someone doesn't require fancy stuff like routing for approval and GL coding. As I recall, @MarkKotyla , we could get back to the doc a number of ways, very intuitive and friendly. Altec has alot more moving parts along with the functionality and It's always a bit of an ordeal if we need to change anything. ACOM works well, but they were dismissiive when I tried to ask for a second demo.
