    Sorry if this was answered previously. Will Sage 100 v4.4 connect to Aatrix for 1099 printing despite not being on the supported list?

    I was able to install tax tables and run W2's for a client on 4.4. Not sure if they have run 1099 yet. WIll check on that.

    This customer wants to run 1099. My understanding is the IRD was needed for 1099 purposes this year.

    No problem running 1099's from MAS 4.4. I had to use the manual updater, http://updates.aatrix.com/web/SageMAS/MAS90.exe , but other than that no issues.

    When I run the Mas90.exe program it returns the message it cannot run by itself?

    I got the updater to run by having Sage 100 open when I ran it.

    Now I cannot get eFiling to activate. How do I get around this. I'm assuming I can't install the IRD. this is version 4.4. Unfortunately I cannot upgrade this client.

    Several of my clients were/are on older versions. It is too much PITA to support the old crap for W-2 processing. I just slammed in a copy of v2016, did a quick migration of their data, then had them do their YE PR processing on v2016. They are happy and I still have a few gray hairs left.

    thanks for the response Greg. updated the customer number in systems config but that didn't help. thanks jeff, I'm going to load current version on a desktop and migrate the 30 companies for 1099 purposes only.

    that's a great question. updates downloaded OK which might rule out firewall issue. I'm thinking it's because they haven't done the IRD for several years. Loading v2015 on a workstation for 1099 printing.
