Sorry if this was already asked and answered previously but I couldn't locate anything in SC. Decimal Precision: As far as I know, decimal precision in MAS 90/200 4.40 is controlled in C/I Setup Options, which impacts the system globally (e.g., I/M, S/O, P/O, B/M, W/O) - whereas in prior versions, the S/O and P/O modules for example had their own decimal settings in Setup Options which overrode I/M. I'm not quite sure I understand the new logic of this because as in many clients' situations, the quantities in S/O and P/O are whole numbers but on the manufacturing side they deal with fractional quantities. And having fractionalized qty fields where only whole numbers should be entered creates possible keying errors.

    Am I missing something here?

As far as I understood it - it hasn't changed how it works. SO never had it's own set of decimal places and the ones in PO were only if you did not have the IM module integrated.

I keep thinking S/O used to have its own decimal settings but I think you're right.

SO & PO had a field for setting decimal precision which I think impacted printing, but IM always controlled decimal precision for all modules.
