Someone just made a good point in the LinkedIn Sage 100 group. When you update a customer on an older version of Sage 100 (MAS90) AND if they are using Starship Link (and have NOT yet contacted V-Technologies to switch over to the V-Tech link) then when you install your upgrade the Starship Link goes away.
This can be quite the panic moment as the shippers call to say that their Starship button is gone and they have a few dozen packages that must go out overnight...
The solution is that you have to first contact V-Technologies and the customer has to be be on V-Technologies support. Then V-Tech activates the customer for Starship Link which you can download , install and authenticate.
I realize probably 98.5% of us already know or have dealt with this but it's worth a reminder because it's easy to overlook and produces quite the panic moment when you run into it.
