I believe the large pickup in 2014 was actually the change over from Oasis members to all full Socialcast memberships, correct @RobertWood?

Yes. That's what I'd credit it to.

    What does ""terminated"" mean?

@JerryNorman I think that's the number that joined that year that have subsequently terminated. It's not necessarily the number terminated that year. I don't have Moira's underlying data to confirm that.

    I'll take a look, but I think Robert's correct.

The turnover is higher than I thought. Blytheco makes substitutions multiple times a year. We also lost several after OASIS when the price jumped from $150 per year to whatever we charged for renewals.

It's too bad that we can't measure this with more finesse. The substitutions do make it look worse than it may truly be. After 2014 it seems to have smoothed out. It's normal to loose some, I've seen the stat of 7 - 10 % turnover is actually on the low end for community groups like ours.

Yes. It would be interesting to see both sets of dates: yr join vs. yr quit, and vice versa. Also tied to #MOTMs attended. The nature of the group did change substantially after 2014. I suspect that the people who were loosely associated dropped as it expanded, let in the riffraff, and increased price. I'm not sure we learn much by looking at 2014 and earlier.
