If a Sage partner visits the customers office to review workflow, data entry screens, enhancements, reports, documentation and the like... the customer first needs permission from Epicor? The restriction is too broad, and will be difficult to enforce.

    Epicor has much deeper pockets than ATP. It's just the threat of a complex lawsuit that gets the job done since lawyers are up to about $500/hr now days

    Agreed. Even if ATP is on the hook for some of the allegations, I hope they team up with a consumer rights group to challenge Epicors oppressive licensing policies. Similar lunacy has been attempted by cellular carriers... trying to prevent consumers from unlocking phones.

    And they had inside information on all the deals which they use to try and sell services
