Some feedback from affiliate renewals: - Looking for expo space - Confusion about which membership levels include tickets (I'll try to update the handout with bigger fonts and maybe we can also include reading glasses)] Observation: The more affiliates you invite the speak for free, the fewer who are going to approach you next year willing to pony up for any type sponsorship

I know I have missed 2 meetings and was wondering if we are involving affiliates during the 2 day "" Work Less Make More Money "" sessions?

I have not heard that we are not - provided that they purchase a ticket

I'm surprised the affliates can't figure out the number of tickets included @WayneSchulz - we spent a fair amount of time on the document. I think it's not just reading glasses - we'll have to remove their rose colored glasses first.

You might just need to make it confusing like a Sage document!

Feedback from Peter on his discussion with affiliates: I think 90 Minds should consider adding some type of expo area next year to up the stakes. I'm hearing some comments around ""everyone knows who I am what do I really get out of a speaking position""? My message is recurring attendance and speaking leads to partners feeling that you are a reliable, dependable, constant presence in their world so they will be more likely to work with you. That has been resonating but it might be good to up the value add next year. People (vendors in particular) love booths / tables. Just some info to add to your idea factory.

With us having the 3 rooms the full time ( 1 large and 2 small) couldn't we set up a expo in one of the small rooms and always use the one big room and 1 small room for sessions?

we could but then during the dual session with 2 affiliates it is tough to decide who gets the bigger room.

Something to keep in mind - if we shift to more expo space, there will be an equal or greater shift in affiliates complaining not enough people spent enough time at their booth.

Here is why there is confusion about whether tickets are included with affiliate membership (from the Included in Your Dues section): ""Attend current (Meeting of the Minds held annually in February) and future group events to network with our members (additional ticket fee applies)"" The ""additional ticket fee applies"" implies that tickets are additional. Now maybe I don't understand this and there are no tickets included for being an affiliate. If I were paying $4,000 (or $2,000 renewal), I would expect to have a ticket to MOTM. If not included, then the above should read ""The right to attend . . . events . . . at listed attendee ticket prices.

It was more confusing before we added ""additional ticket fee applies"" but the point is well taken.
