Software Conferences I had an e-mail from HighJump about the TrueCommerce EDI Elevate conference in March - discounted rate of $899, if registered by 12/31/15 (and I just received this), but now it's $1,249. Then there's the Altec Evolution conference in March that's $1,295. Finally there is the newly named Microsoft Envision, which is $1,995. None of those include air fare and hotel, of course. How do these organizations expect us to pay for their conferences when we are attending them and not doing billable consulting work? Have they not heard of the unbelievably low rate for Sage Summit of $99???

Biznet has Excellapalooza for similar costs. IMHO you have to be on crack to go to the new Microsoft conference. They need to consolidate these or do more online.
