    SOE is now asking us, when deleting a line item, if we want to save it in history and the reason. However, I can still delete a Sales Order and it still doesn't ask for a reason. We want to have the whole Sales Order tracking in history. Can we? The way I understand the ability to prompt for reason codes -- you should be able to supply a reason code when the entire SO is deleted? Anyone?

    There are 2 separate settings for SO History retention, one for lines and the other for orders. You probably have lines set to Prompt. Ensure orders are set to Prompt as well.

    Unfortunately I tagged both as ""prompt"" - but they say that the deleted orders are not prompting for a reason code.

    Have they actually deleted the order or are they clicking Delete, but not being prompted for Reason Code right away? User must first commit to deleting order before prompt is displayed. Also, order must have been saved prior to attempted delete. Works fine on 4.5.

    Are they answering the question ""Do you want to save deleted order to history?"" when they say yes to that then it ask for the code.

    I think you nailed it Mark. I just logged in and it works exactly as you described. You da' man.. I'm reverifying with the customer and pretending like I knew it all along ... ;-) Thanks!
