So now that Standard, Advanced and Premium are all the same price with Sage100c, what would you recommend for a new 15 user setup needing the financial and distribution modules only? Most of my customers are on Advanced and I have very little experience with Premium. Hardware is not a concern. Thank you for all recommendations.

Advanced. We recommend for 10+users and/or high transaction volume. Consideration also for their IT environment and expertise to manage the server App.

Advanced, unless the IT or management group states a strong need for reporting off SQL tables. When users presume that SQL means that the UI will be lighting fast I typically guide them back to the reality that Advanced will be just as quick and Premium is if they have a lot of external reporting with large or growing data tables In my world - 90% of SQL requests have been IT driven with 10% being user/management driven.

SQL allows for far more flexibility in customization and integrations, and ease of fixing things like ""I just updated a batch of 90 invoices into 12/6/2027"". The only downside to SQL is upgrades get a bit more complicated largely due to a mix of ignorance and fucus in the Premium design.

Thank you all. I guess Advanced it is. They don't have much need for external reporting or integrations.
