So I have a weird one here. EU is on 2013 Std, running through RDP. In order to test some programming customizations before installing onto production server, IT cloned the server (VM Ware enviro) and put it up as the ""DEV"" server. Users are logging in to the new dev server using a different RDP icon to do their testing, but are reporting that their My Tasks have switched places!? Is this possible? Where are the menu customizations stored?

Is it a cloned copy? I have seen this before with believe it or not the resolution on the new Rdp server not set to full screen. Check the resolution settings on both.

Not sure how they made the copy. They are running as RDP apps, so they do not get a desktop with a screen resolution. How could the two servers interact in ANY way?

They should'nt. I have only seen for example, server 1 screen resolution was set to something that made the tasks and the icons not show up right. When I compared to the one that was working correctly, I noticed that the one that was'nt working was not set to full screen. When I changed the resolution it seemed to solve the issue.

@GeorgeWirtjes I have seen that too. Not what is happening here, this is the My Tasks, they are saying the folders are missing.

Are they the public folders? Those should have cloned over just fine (as part of the MAS_System files), but the private ones are tied to the users local session, right? So if it an RDP app, it would be tied to the Windows Logon? Which would be different on the cloned server I am guessing (...launcher\<user logon>\<windows logon>) ??

So I was able to finally uncover what was going on here. One of the users created a set of Public Folders on the production server not realizing everyone would see them, this confused one of the users, now seeing a combination of the new public folders and her private folders and incorrectly concluded that the test server ""messed up my tasks"". The paranoia then spread to cause general mayhem among the remaining users. LOL The stuff we have to deal with!?
