So has anyone watched the Joe Langner video about support? Here's a quote from one of the FAQ things:
The subscription plan does not require any penalties to come back on a program, and the cash flow managed purchasing approach with the application is yet another reason to come back on the Sage Business Care plan.
And here's another quote:
Previously, phone support was only available to those with Sage Business Care Silver or Gold plansand unlimited phone support was reserved just for Gold. Now that's all changed. Given how much value customers get from it, Sage decided it was time for everyone to have access to phone support.
SO - that looks like a helluva big change to me. No more penalties for being offplan (and what about just being late - another reseller I work with had to fight Sage over a client being a week late just two weeks ago), and it SOUNDS like everyone gets unlimited support. The Gold Plan offers this that the Silver does not - Upgrade Planning to determine whether you should upgrade even though you've modified the whazoo out of your Sage 100 ERP.
