So has anyone implemented the new True Commerce Integration into Sage 100 (4.4,4.5) I sat through a presentation today and it looked very good. They completely scrapped the VI interface and wrote it using BOI. It looks like it handle all things EDI including all forms and includes service in transactions fees. Any feedback? #TRUECOMMERCE

Surprising that this interface has been out for over a year and no one has used it.

It's difficult to sell new users on True Commerce, especially since there are cloud-based options at a fraction of the investment. I would forgo the tier credit on the endorsed solution to provide clients with a more economical solution. I have discussed the BOI with True Commerce, and essentially there would no longer be any consulting requirements for us. That's not a problem as I see it, because I always thought having to work with VI to integrate was sort of a lame approach.

We have a client on Sage 100 Advanced 4.5 using it. They implemented it because one of their vendors requires EDI information with each pallot delivered. the implementation went well and the client is happy with it.

We've proposed it to several customers and the sticking point is always the requirement that they use TrueCommerce's VAN.

I'm not sure why anyone would have an issue with having TrueCommerce as the VAN. I've always touted that as an advantage. This week I presented a client with 3 options, because they thought they should. I told them that True Commerce was the Endorsed Solution and explained what that meant, gave them the B2BGateway cloud solution which is a much smaller investment, and Mapadoc which is what it is. All I did was present the facts and the relative costs. They are probably going with TrueCommerce, because they believe that an Endorsed Solution is a better bet, even though it is a higher investment. I really have nothing to say, because that was the only negative I could identify.

we have a client on it - they were already using HighJump/TrueCommerce with another ERP/divison, and they were merging that into Sage 100, so it made perfect sense to put Sage 100 on it. We still looked at some other options, but they've been happy with it. I think it's been about 6-9 months since they started using it.
