SO. Client will have some 0 dollar invoices every month where the positive portion is commissionable and the negative portion is not. They pay commission on paid invoices. These invoices will have no pay date.... Appears they will not show up using the new Pay Date prompt. Anyone have an idea other than running for all invoice dates each time and using a Crystal Pay Date prompt instead, and also selecting 0 dollar invoices with an invoice date in the pay date range? (There is a nice check box about negatives, but not about 0s!)

If the $0 invoice is dated 1/31/2017, what date is the commission due?

1/31. Considered ""paid"" immediately. We're just using repetitive invoicing to move a monthly amount from Accrued Maintenance to Maintenance Contract Sales. Positive line posting to Sales Account, negative line posting to Accrued. Only the positive line is commissionable.

I like your idea of a Crystal report. User enters the pay date then select invoices in the 30 day range. Select commisionable line items that also have a $0 total invoice.

    Least invasive, I suppose.

We had a client with a similar situation (though not exact) and the DSD Enhancement AR-1049 Enhanced Commission reporting was enough for them to be able to process. It's not sure expensive either if they are open to it.

@MichelleForsey - that's a neat enhancement, but it looks like it is still expecting a Payment record (or credit memo).
