So back to Windows 10 - have someone trying to install and it keeps going to nowhere. Runs thru install successfully, but doesn't show up anywhere. UAC not turned on.

Can you search for the Sage folder? Is it a full blown version (not a homie??).

I have a WIN 8.1 Pro with Media and it will download and starts install but fails because this version is not compatible with WIN 10.

Mmmm, did I misread? Are you upgrading a workstation to WIN 10 or trying to install Sage on a WIN 10??

No misreading - I didn't give enough detail. Trying to put 2013 Std workstation on a Win 10 machine. So no folder to find anyway...

Do you have a Sage folder in your list of Apps? The shortcut should be added there. In windows explorer it would be found at c:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\StartMenu\Programs\Sage. You could also create a shortcut on the desktop if need be. I have this working on a windows 10 Pro Insider Preview build 10547. One trick I found with Windows 10 is always right click and run as administrator.

No Sage folder but another go at installing did say REINSTALL, so it has it recorded somewhere. I went ahead and created the shortcut as @TimEfinger suggested.
