  • 1.  smtp.emailsrvr.com - two customers where I had to make this change

So far I've had two customers who were using Rackspace - smtp.emailsrvr.com - and their paperless office email delivery threw the typical mumbo-jumbo error.

In both cases the users swear they made no changes to the password.

When I logged into their system I changed the SMTP Encryption from NONE to TLS/STARTTLS and email delivery began working without any further issue.
    Just an FYI.
It appears to be unrelated to TLS changes and I don't think the customer made any changes on their end so I'm going with some type of system change at Rackspace.

Here's the standard awful error message Sage threw

The email server probably just stopped accepting unencrypted email... which would be long overdue by today's standards.
