We have a client who is on Sage 2017 Premium PU 3, running on a Server 2016. System performance is satisfactory when the Scheduled Task to auto update inventory transactions is not running. When the scheduled task launches and it seems when the system is generating the Task Scheduler Log, the performance of Sage for most users declines. Examples includes takes a long time for new Sage screens to load, delay in typed in information in a field, lookups screens taking a long time to load. We have pinpointed it to be only when this task scheduler log is generating. We have tried moving the scheduled task off the server and to a virtual machine running in 90 mode. It still effects the entire systems performance. Any ideas on what the cause could be or to disable the task scheduler log from trying to generate?
