Slide deck from ""why we're charging more for maintenance"" . From what I can see this is step one of authorizing ASC (support centers) to alleviate complaining that Sage is marketing into support clients. I guess (absolute WAG) that phase two may be for Sage to ramp up and include premium support in some new sales and/or renewals. By having an ASC Sage can keep the big VARS placated by promising not to sell into their base. However I think this also gives Sage too much credit.
