SLA is asking for our help in promoting their meeting which is following MOTM 2016. I posted in the Business Of Consulting https://www.swiftpage3.com/speasapage.aspx?X=2V18YJXLIMRGAT3K00ZDWM

While I'd like to attend, it's a big stretch to be out of the office for nearly two weeks. I have a full day DSD, two day Baker/Kless and two days of MOTM. The concept of coordinating dates sounds great but I think they would have done much better to have it be concurrent and some of the sessions interchangeable.

Feel silly asking, but what are the benefits of the SLA? Who is likely to benefit from attending?

SLA is the old Sage Leadership Academy Alumni Association (I think). @JohnHoyt is a member and can probably give better insights to the benefits. I think they have a much deeper business and personal/business development focus.

SLA has 2 conferences per year, Sunday night through Tuesday mid afternoon each time. The program is one subject with one speaker many times based on a book or specific business approach. Whereas ITA has short subjects that are business improvement topics, this is a deep dive into a specific business topic. The book club is separate from the conference. I am not attending this one due to too many activities. I am out a week at the Acumatica conference and then MOTM. I agree the concept of having this directly after MOTM seems good, but the reality is we still have our businesses to run. It would have been better to hold this in March when it normally is.
