Since SAP/Crystal removed the MAPI option (version 2013/2014) we have a client using PO that is raising hell. Why is there not a ""use email address from data entry"" for the PO forms like there is for the SO entry and invoice forms? Anyone else run into this issue and have a solution - has anyone scripted around paperless office functionality (sounds like a nightmare to me). Happy Labor Day weekend!

Been bitching about the inconsistency in PO e-mailing for a while. Sometimes it is good just to blow steam as it isn't going to change much...... Maybe I will drop Diane Coffman a note to see which decade this is slated for...

Is this a situation where they want to print ONE PO at a time and e-mail it??? If so, while there are a couple clicks involved, here is what I recommend.. Quick Print Preview the form in Crystal. Export Report Choose Adobe Reader/Application After Adobe opens, click on the envelope icon to share as an e-mail attachment. This will launch Outlook and attach. Yes, awkward, but it does work. PLUS they have an entry in their send folder that it actually went.....

Change is hard for everyone. As I explain to the client, don't shoot the messenger... Response back from Diane Coffman.... .............You guys are brutal! There are many things that are out of the control of R&D but I will take responsibility for this ""bad"". We just plain missed it. Interestingly, it didn't really come to my attention until the last month or so. With that said, it is on our quick win list as a contender for 2015. Let me see what we can do............................ So we can only hope that SOME day, our dreams will come true............

I've given up on the ideas..... Too many good ones posted, too few good ones implemented. It is like ""why bother?
